The "So's" from 1 & 2 Peter

About a month ago I wrote down all the verses from 1 and 2 Peter that started with (or almost started with) the word "so". Each day during my quiet time I read over one of the "so's" and dwell on it, with the goal of letting God's Word conform me more and more to His image.

Today's post contains the "so's" from the New Living Translation, w/o the verse references...sorry, I didn't add the reference when I wrote them down and tucked them in my bible :) Hope you are encouraged today!!

" So think clearly and exercise self-control.
So see to it that you really do love each other intensely with all your hearts.
So get rid of all malicious behavior and deceit.
So I warn you to keep away from evil desires because they fight against your very souls.
So don't be afraid, and don't worry.
So make every effort to apply the benefits of these promises to your life.
So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen.
So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while punishing the wicked right up until the day of judgement.
And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to live a pure and blameless life. And be at peace with God.
So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude He had, and be ready to suffer, too.
So if you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right, and trust yourself to the God who made you, for He will never fail you.
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God and in His good time He will honor you.

Those are the "so's"! Lord bless your day everyone!

Day 2 done :)
